Becoming a Woman of Faith Bible Study, a review

I recently received Becoming a Woman of Faith by Cynthia Heald from Navpress Publishing. I really enjoyed the formatting of the Bible Study, it invites the reader to read not only scripture but to reflect on their past and look to applying it in the future. The reader will look up and reflect on several verses pertaining to living out your faith, dealing with doubt and placing your faith in God above the things of this world. At the end of each chapter there is a “memory verse” of either one that spoke to your heart or the one pre selected by the author.  I would give yourself an hour or more to do one chapter of this. There are several passages to read (old and new testament) and they are several verses long.

This maybe a good study to do as an individual and reflect together as a group. Sharing your feelings of the passages and what spoke to you and encourages you in your faith. I liked this study and seeing I am constantly looking at the waves and wind, Jesus is usually pulling me out of the water on a daily basis.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from NavPress Publishers as part of their Blogger Review Program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commision’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”
