After my last experience with deep sea snorkeling I decided to hike on our next option for activities in the afternoon. And so did most of the group mainly because we snorkeled that morning, the group, and wanted the opportunity to walk around that afternoon. The rest of the Clarke’s, Steve, Janet, Salem and Travis snorkeled along with another passenger. Me and the rest of the group, wet landed on a small island called Chinese Hat and had a good hike. We did see much more wildlife but the terrain, the sights on each island are so different and never got the “I have already seen this already” attitude or thought. Here are a few photos from the hike:
Beautiful White Coral beach
Of Course more Sea Lions!
Chinese Hat and our Hiking Group
Now Some photos from the Snorkel taken by Travis:
Pacific Green Sea Turtle
White Tipped Reef Shark…I would have been out of the water so fast it isn’t even funny. Travis was glad to see one though!
Once we all arrived back on the M/Y Eric, the captain directed the boat to a cratered island with a salt water lagoon, from the boat you could see all the pink speckled dots in the water (with binoculars of course) these are Galapagos Flamingos!
